This show was the culmination of several programmes including training sessions on designing, stone setting and quality improvement carried out to upgrade the capabilities of the jewellers. These programmes were jointly organized by the Product Management Division, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Division along with the Regional Office, Galle of the EDB.

The 13 participants were carefully selected by a panel of judges for their original intricate designs and stone setting of gold and silver jewellery.
