Production Process Coconut shell charcoal dust is the primary raw material used in the production of briquettes which is a by-product in the process of manufacturing activated carbon. The raw material is directly taken from activated carbon manufactures. The process of the production contains mixing the charcoal dust with a starch-based binder, using two high capacity mixers. This mixture is then fed in to the briquetting machine which is a heavy-duty high capacity unit that produces pillow shaped briquettes. All the briquettes which are placed on trays and stacked in trolleys, passed through a dryer to reduce the moisture content up to the acceptable level. Then the dried briquettes are transferred to the packing area. And then the final product would be palletized and loaded on to containers.
