Desicolanka began as a family-based Desiccated Coconut (DC) production company in 1954 in Sri Lanka, the small island that is known as the birth place of the DC industry. Led by the visionary D. M. Rajapakse this company produced Desiccated Coconut to the international market. Three generations later, Desicolanka not only specializes in a variety of coconut products but also expanded its number of production plants and is complete with an export company. Today, Desicolanka has two production facilities with over 230 employees, strategically established within the famous coconut triangle in the country. Developing on their years of experience and customer satisfaction, Desicolanka has delivered a variety of quality products that have been used for over 6 decades by a mix of international clientele.
