Mineral fuels, boilers, machinery and parts, plastics and articles
thereof, animal and vegetable fats and oils, fertilizers, miscellaneous
manufactured articles, woven fabrics, electrical machinery and equipment
parts, natural and cultured pearls, iron and steel, ships, boats and
floating structures, essential oils and wheat flour.
Sri Lanka's market share in 1998 was 0.85%.
Potential Export products from Sri Lanka
Oil seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, soya bean, essential oils,
cut flowers and foliage plants, non metallic mineral products other
than ceramic/porcelain, paper and paper products, clay materials,
roofing tiles, bricks and wall tiles.
