For a short spell of one year and 3 months commencing October 2004, was assigned to be in charge of the Sri Lanka Trade Centre in Chennai.

Responsible for Marketing activities in the European Region such as organizing

Inward buying delegations to Sri Lanka.

Outward exporter delegations to European markets.

Sri Lanka Pavilions at International Trade Fairs

Image building campaigns in Europe.
