The Sri Lanka Export Development Board in collaboration with the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) Sri Lanka's participation at the International Furniture Fair, Tokyo, Japan to be held from 27th to 30th November, 2002.

It is proposed to select 2-3 manufacturers / exporters from the following product sectors to participate at this fair.  Preference will be given to furniture manufacturers/ exporters (finished products).

Golden and Outdoor Furniture

Furniture Material & Parts

 ASSISTANCE

Display booth & constructions with basic fixtures & fittings (company sign board, information counter/ table & chairs) an interpreter on shared basis and consultancy service will be provided at the Fair.

COST OF PARTICIPATION

The participating company is expected to meet the cost of airfare and internal travel, sample manufacturing & freight charges, customs and import duties, taxes, insurance, cost of publicity and promotional material, expenses related to accommodation during the stay in Japan and all other expenses.
