LANKA JATHIKA SARVODAYA SHRAMADANA SANGAMAYA

Dr. A. T. Ariyaratne founded Sarvodaya in 1958, when he established the concept of Shramadana (“Sharing of one’s Time, Thoughts, Labor and Energy”); gathering volunteers to come together and build a road in an impoverished rural village of Sri Lanka. 

Wood work division being the social enterprising arm produces lead-free painted wooden pre-school educational equipments and play- materials  renowned for high quality both locally and internationally. 

Our products have reached export markets in Australia, Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Norway, United Kingdom and USA, and the revenue generated from sales use to support the community development activities of our parent organization, the Sarvodaya Shramadana Movement.
