Sleep on natural rubber Latex mattress for improved comfort and health

Sleep on natural rubber Latex mattress for improved comfort and health

2015-07-23

A comfortable sleep requires a responsive surface for pressure relief and appropriate support for the spine and body shape. While mattress manufacturers have been experimenting with various natural and synthetic material for the last five decades trying to find the best combination for an ideal mattress, natural rubber latex has emerged as one of the most suitable materials to create the dream mattress.

With a natural trait of solid flexibility, natural latex vulcanised with Dunlop method provides a more supportive and firmer feel while the natural latex made through the Talalay process carries a softer feel, making them one of the most ideal materials for mattresses.

Many mattress manufacturers prefer to combine natural rubber latex made through Dunlop and Talalay processes to create an ideal sleeping experience by using Dunlop latex rubber for the core of the mattress to give firm support while adding Talalay latex rubber to the top of the mattress for a softer and luxurious feel.

In addition to the super comfortable hold natural latex provides to a mattress, it also allows good air circulation discouraging the building up of moisture and heat in the mattress interior. Natural latex is also durable, resists packing down, and forming of body impressions. Because of its buoyant and highly resilient qualities, it allows you to easily change sleeping positions, which prevents the disruption of natural sleep patterns.

Thanks to the unique characteristics of natural latex that provides a firm flexibility and soft comfort, it can be cleverly layered in mattresses and pillows to retain the right amount of softness and firmness.

Natural latex mattresses also have a higher density, body and volume to it and lasts longer than most synthetic materials. Even at the end of its life cycle, natural latex proves itself to be a better mattress ingredient as it can be easily recycled and reclaimed, placing less weight on the ecosystem.

The most recent development in natural rubber latex mattress industry is the introduction of Organic Natural Rubber Latex Mattresses, that contains no chemical or synthetic ingredients or components.

A mattress made from organic rubber latex does not contain any chemicals, synthetics, pesticides, herbicides, or other man-made products and has been certified as 100% organic by Global Organic Latex Standards (GOLS).

Organic latex mattresses are hypo-allergenic, anti-microbial, anti-bacterial and are resistant to water. With a high resistance to dust mites, bacteria, fungus, mold, mildew, bedbugs and other allergens, organic latex mattresses have also proven to improve respiratory health.

As the consumer interest in 'green' goods increases worldwide, many mattress manufacturers seek to incorporate organic natural rubber latex into their products to provide an ultimate experience in sleeping and ecological conservation.
