LMC was established in the year of 1998 and commenced commercial production in 1999. Lanmic Exports (Pvt) Limited the sister Company of LMC established to facilitate exportation of our yield without a 3rd party intervention. Our Factory was established at Seethawaka EPZ close enough to the commercial capital and far enough from the Cities, yet within reasonable distance to the source of raw material – cities of Balangoda, Embilitpitiya, Digana, Matale etc,. Fitting the phrase “Sons of the Soil” Lanka Minerals & Chemicals (Pvt) Ltd is a typical Sri Lankan Company. Harvesting gently the abundance from the mother earth without ravage, taking only what is required, leaving behind the rest for natural healing and restoration, just as our forefathers taught us. LANMIC is in the vanguard in processing high quality Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) in Sri Lanka.
