Macbertan [Private] Limited is a result of a strategic collaboration between McLarens Holdings Limited and Alliance Finance Co. PLC, two well renowned commercial establishments in Sri Lanka. Macbertan has pioneered the manufacture of Expanded Polyethylene Foam Products and Polyethylene Air Bubble Sheets in Sri Lanka and has been marketing its products under the Brand Names of McFoam, McFoil, McFoil Ultra and McWrap. These products are mainly used for thermal and impact insulation and have limitless applications. Macbertan expanded its production line by installing a state of the art manufacturing facility to manufacture ABL and PBL tubes in Sri Lanka. The capacity of this plant is now utilized to manufacture Tubes for leading Toothpaste Suppliers, while maintaining high quality standards of the product. Macbertan is the first Plastic Processing Company in Sri Lanka to be awarded the EMS 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 by the Sri Lanka Standards Institution. Macbertan has also received ISO 9001:2008 Certification for Quality Standards and ISO 50001: 2011energy management system certification by the Sri Lanka Standards institution.
