Midland Breeders Pvt Ltd was established as part of the Crysbro Group of Companies in 1972, when its founder had a mission to produce the ideal gourmet experience in chicken for Sri Lankan customers by giving the best in flavor, nutrition, and convenience. From its humble beginnings with 100 chicks, the Crysbro group steadily expanded its facilities via the use of contemporary technology, allowing it to provide the greatest quality and tastiest chicken products on the market to all Sri Lankans. Over the last 50 years, the organization has made enormous contributions to the country by nourishing the people, boosting the rural economy, sponsoring sports that bring Sri Lanka pride, and establishing several CSR activities.

Vertical integration enables Crysbro Group to live true its goal, 'Farm to Fork', by assuming ownership and control of every stage involved in the manufacture of our famous 'Fresh Upcountry Chicken'. This integration includes vast farmland, Sri Lanka's largest and most sophisticated feed mill facility, grandparent and parent bird farms, broiler production centres, cutting-edge processing and packaging facilities, and our own refrigerated distribution fleet.
