    📅 Date: 02.12.2025
    🕒 Time: [12.30pm-1.30pm] (SL time)
    💻 Platform: [Zoom]

The Russian Federation has introduced a mandatory national certification and labelling system known as “Honest Mark/Sign,” with compliance deadlines falling in 2025 and 2026 for several product categories.

This system is designed to track and verify the movement of goods from manufacturers and importers through retail channels to end consumers. Compliance requires a unique QR code to be printed on product packaging, in addition to the standard product label.

CRPT, a public–private partnership in Russia, has been appointed by the Government of Russia as the official operator of the Honest Mark system. Importers and manufacturers are required to obtain services from CRPT-registered technical partners to implement the Honest Mark labelling requirements.

To support Sri Lankan exporters in understanding this mandatory system, the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB), in collaboration with the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Russia, is organizing an informative webinar to create awareness on the implementation process and requirements.
