The story of Gemi Teas begins in the year 2002 with a development of a patented handmade tea bag designed to serve the expanding airline industry. Since it’s inception, Gemi Teas has used to same innovative spirit to establish itself as a major exporter of tea and herbal products in a variety of packaging options to major supermarket chains, food distributors and food service partners from our production facilities in Sri Lanka (Ceylon). Gemi Teas supplies a large volume of teas and herbs in tea bags and in consumer packs to Scandinavia through our partner company Fredsted The A/S Copenhagen. We also Export Large volumes of teas and herbs under private label to Europe, Australia, China, Canada, Russia, West Africa, East Africa and the Middle East. Gemi Teas sells bulk of its products under private label (House brands) around the world and has 15 years of experience in handling joint product development, graphics development projects.
