MILFORD EXPORTS CEYLON LTD

"Stassen" is one of the largest Group of Companies in Sri Lanka. Since its inception in 1977 it has established business as exporters, importers, manufacturers, owners, of plantations and bankers, telecommunication, milk, alcohol, insurance, leisure industry etc. We export tea and produce items to destinations the world over and have emerged as one of the largest exporters of tea and desiccated coconut with annual shipments of tea ranging around 20 million Kilos. Our performance as an exporter of tea has been rewarded by the Government of Sri Lanka by awarding its prestigious Presidential Export Award consecutively for a period of five years. We are also producers of Tea from our own Tea Gardens. In the mid-Eighties "Stassen" pioneered the production of Green Tea (Chinese Style) for the first time in Sri Lanka and also the production of Organic Tea in the mid-Eighties and it are known today as the world's first internationally certified Organic Tea Garden.
