Nelna Agri Developments (Pvt) Limited is one of the leading subsidiaries of Nelna Group of companies which focuses on agricultural sector in Sri Lanka. In 2005, the founder of Nelna, Mr. W.G.E.G Nanayakkara introduced Nelna Agri as a part of his business diversification strategy from his core business of integrated poultry production, which is well established in the country since 1996. Nelna Agri Developments (Pvt) Limited owns the largest mango plantation in Sri Lanka that spans over 650 acres of land in the intermediary and dry zones in the country. The company is specilaised in growing TJC variety of mangoes which are being sold under the "Nelna Mango" brand which are available in both local and international markets. Nelna Agri is also planing on introducing value added fruits and vegetable items to the market in the near future.
