Mr. Mangala Wijesinghe, with over 25 years of senior and top management experience across various sectors, including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, consumer & electronics, industrial engineering solutions, and mobile & telecommunications, Mangala is a prominent leader in the Sri Lankan corporate world. He successfully manages a portfolio of international suppliers with well-known brands across various industries, driving operational efficiency and business growth.
Mr. Mangala Wijesinghe holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Additionally, he is a Chartered Professional Manager in Sri Lanka, further reinforcing his credentials in business management and corporate strategy. His academic qualifications, combined with extensive industry experience, have equipped him with the expertise to lead organizations toward sustained success.
From 2021 to 2023, Mangala Wijesinghe served as the President of the Veterinary Importers & Manufacturers Association (VIMA), where his leadership played a pivotal role in advancing industry standards. He is well-known for his ability to turn around loss-making businesses and guide them toward profitability in a short period of time. In addition, Mangala is actively engaged with many local and international associations related to export development, further enhancing his influence in the industry.
