The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR, 2025/40) sets concentration limits for both single PFAS molecules (PFOA, PFOS, etc.) and for the sum of all single molecules in packaging. These limits apply exclusively to food packaging placed on the EU market after 12 August 2026.
