The Sri Lanka Association of Software and Service Companies (SLASSCOM) is partnering with CH17, the specialists in corporate loyalty management services to introduce an exclusive Privilege Card for professionals engaged in the IT/BPM industry.

SLASSCOM member companies can enroll their staff for the program who will be entitled for multiple benefits and privileges from partner merchants and retailers of consumer products and services, who are registered with CH17. Special discounts from over 140 leading merchants of consumer goods and services are exclusively extended to the employees of member companies of SLASSCOM.

The vendors range across daily essentials, personal items, food and beverage, hospitality, leisure, wellness, technology services, lifestyle, travel, banking and finance and other service providers island-wide. The card will be made available to all SLASSCOM member companies, which will be initially offered at a discounted rate for the first year. CH17 Loyalty Mobile App provides the latest vendors and offers on the CH17 Loyalty Program.

SLASSCOM Chairman Ranil Rajapakse stated: “We introduced this ‘SLASSCOM Privilege Card’ as a program exclusively for the professionals engaged in the IT/BPM industry to appreciate our IT/BPM workforce. We already have 14 companies who have signed up for the program and we see this offering as a further value addition to the SLASSCOM membership.”

CH17 Chief Executive Officer Jumar Preena commented: “We are thrilled to partner with SLASSCOM and offer the ‘SLASSCOM Privilege Card’ to their member companies. We have an exciting time ahead, as we go on onboarding new vendors onto our loyalty program, which will serve better for everyone with this unique loyalty card offered for those in the IT/ BPM industry.”

The IT/BPM industry is recognised as a thrust industry within the National Export Strategy (NES) and is promoted globally as the ‘Island of Ingenuity’ for world-class knowledge solutions. Currently Sri Lanka’s fifth-largest export earner, the industry has a goal to reach $ 5 billion by 2022, with a workforce of over 200,000, and a thriving ecosystem for startups.
