His Excellency President Anura Kumara Dissanayake yesterday (August 12, 2025) chaired the Second Export Development Council of Ministers Meeting (EDCM) at the Presidential Secretariat, marking significant milestones in Sri Lanka's ambitious journey toward achieving USD 36 billion in annual export revenue by 2030.
The Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) recently held a strategic meeting with 15 newly appointed diplomatic representatives, aimed at strengthening the country's export capabilities and enhancing market penetration across diverse international regions.

This initiative includes three components: I: ExpoNavigator for awareness raising and training, II: ExpoScaleUp for capacity-building and export marketing planning, and III: ExpoConnect for market access support through trade fairs and B2B meetings.
