At the request of the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism organized a Diplomatic Briefing on Sri Lanka Expo 2027 on 12 June 2026 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the participation of approximately 100 representatives from foreign diplomatic missions based in Colombo and Ambassadors/representatives of foreign missions accredited to Sri Lanka, both physically and virtually.
Marking a significant milestone in Sri Lanka’s economic development, the National Export Development Plan (NEDP) 2026–2030 was officially launched today, 16 June 2026.
