Proud to have represented the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) at the "Improving Transparency for Sustainable Business (ITSB)" Capacity Building Session held on 26th November 2025 at Cinnamon Grand, Colombo. This programme focused on enhancing the knowledge of our stakeholders, particularly SMEs and supply chain partners, on reporting frameworks, due diligence expectations, traceability requirements, and building accountability into their operations.
This initiative marks another important step towards strengthening sustainability practices within Sri Lanka's textile and apparel sector. As a key partner in the ITSB programme, the EDB remains committed to advancing transparent, responsible, and globally competitive export industries.
Grateful to collaborate with the Sustainable Development Council, GRI South Asia, JAAF, and Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), whose collective expertise and partnership continue to drive meaningful progress for the sector.
