A special meeting between the Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, Mr. Sunil Handunnetti, and Export Development Officers serving under the Ministry across the Southern, Western, and Sabaragamuwa provinces was held on the 03rd September 2025 at the premises of the Export Development Board (EDB).
The objective of the discussion was to update Export Development Officers on Sri Lanka’s export direction, review export targets, discuss regional development strategies, and provide a broader understanding of the functions of various divisions within the EDB.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, Mr. Chathuranga Abeysinghe; Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the EDB, Mr. Mangala Wijesinghe; Acting Director General, Mr. Erandika Disanayake; along with directors, officials, and Export Development Officers representing the Southern, Western, and Sabaragamuwa provinces.
