The SIAL, a bi-annual event held in Paris, France is one of the major food exhibitions in Europe that brings all the food channels together under one roof. The exhibition offers a range of food & beverage products including ingredients, processed food, fruits and vegetables, dairy products, beverages and Organic products.
In 2021 the exhibition had attracted around 200,00 trade delegates from 194 countries and 70% of the visitors were international visitors. The exhibition consists of dedicated pavilions for beverages, fruits and vegetables, organic food, confectionary, wine & spirit, food ingredients and country pavilion section.
Sri Lanka Export Development Board is organizing a Sri Lanka country pavilion at SIAL exhibition - 2022 from 15th to 19th October 2022, Paris, France to promote Sri Lankan food & beverages and other food related agriculture products namely; coconut kernel products, confessionary, spices, tea, fruit & vegetable and ingredient products, organic products with the participation of 19 export companies.
Sri Lanka will be showcasing their products at Sri Lanka Country Pavilion to be located in Hall 1B-093 area of 180 sqm has been reserved for the Sri Lanka pavilion in the country pavilion section.

Through organizing the Sri Lanka country pavilion at SIAL 2022, Sri Lanka intends to increase the exports of organic agriculture products to the international market in particular the EU region strengthen relationship with existing buyers, promote national products, brands, image building, capture new market opportunities, meet new buyers and to find possible investors/ distributors to expand the market share in Europe.
